We invite you to try out for one of the Flames of Nebraska Girls fastpitch teams. We offer travel teams that stay more local and our national 18u team that is currently ranked #1 in the nation by USSSA points for the 25th year in a row. The founder, manager, and head coach of our national team Rick Buerer is finishing up coaching his 49th year. Rick has coached multiple national and state championship teams over these years. Over 200 seniors have gone through the program and have been offered to compete at the next level. 

Why play for the Flames? In addition to the above, a leadership class is taught preparing these young ladies for life. The leadership skills learned here can be used on into the professional world.

Flames of Nebraska Girls softball are looking for players that are committed and have the desire to work hard, and get better every time they step on the field. We will teach you the skills. These age groups are 18U, 16U, 14U, 12U, and 10U. What your age is on December 31, 2021 is the age group or older age group you will be eligible for the 2022 season.

We are hosting our final Flames tryouts this Saturday, Aug 7th at Dryden Park in Kearney NE at 4:00 PM to fill the remaining spots on our teams. This is the final call! Calling all 12u, 16, &18u players! If any spots remain open after tryouts, we will plan individual tryouts!
